Please make sure to become familiar with these policies:

Deposit Policy:  To assure that your special day is held, I require a 150.00 deposit along with this signed service contract. Your deposit also goes towards supplies needed for the day of your wedding. Your deposit check will be sent back to you in the event a booking comes in before your deposit arrives. Your date is not reserved until your check has been cashed. (Checks should be made to Tricia Boyer)

Booking Policy:

You may add more people receiving services, but please contact me to make sure I have time to accommodate them in case adjustments need to be made. I allot time per wedding party according to the amount of people you indicated above. All wedding parties are to start hair and makeup services at no later than 11am, due to photographs being taken before and to ensure enough time for stylists to have all bridal party done in time for your event. Check with ALL members of your Bridal Party before signing this contract. I require payment in full for the amount of people you have indicated above requiring services. I only book on-site wedding parties with 4 or more people due to my schedule and time away from the salon.

Cancellation Policy:

You may cancel your services up to 30 days prior to the wedding date. After 30 days unfortunately your deposit will not be refunded. If your stylist is subject to being unavailable, every effort will be made to assist you in making other arrangements with another stylist at Rooted Hair Studio. If we are unable to make those arrangements, your deposit will be refunded. We will still make every effort to assist you in finding another stylist.

Travel Fee: 

A Travel fee will be determined prior to booking by distance and location.  

Columbia, Lexington, Aiken and the Charleston areas are subjected to a $50 travel fee.

All parking fees, if required to travel to your hotel room, must be paid with cash or validation. A $50.00 fee will be charged if arrival time is before 9:00 am.

Holiday Fee:

200.00 will be added to weddings booked on a holiday or a holiday weekend. (Major Holidays)

Assistant Fee:

Sometimes one stylist just isn’t enough when working in a time frame. In the event that you need one, there is $150.00 fee per assistant. Assistants are booked when you have a large wedding party of 6 or more, or if you have a limited time to get ready. If a Bridal Party more than 4 is receiving hair and makeup, an assistant will likely need to be added.

By signing this contract, I understand that the deposit is non-refundable. I also acknowledge I am responsible for payment of the total number of people receiving hair services as I indicated above. The bride is to collect payment from the wedding party so that I can be assured that everyone is accounted for. ONE payment transaction will be needed to reduce confusion. I have read and understand the policies outlined above. Extra fees if applicable may be added to final bill. Cash or card is preferred on your wedding day.
